For the past 19 years, I have taught Language Arts in Broward County. In elementary school, I taught Writing as a Special, to K-5th graders, and in middle school I have taught Language Arts to sixth and seventh graders, both gifted and regular. Currently, I am teaching eighth graders; I love the rewarding challenge!
I plan to retire from teaching, as this is where my passion lies. My favorite age group to teach are middle schoolers, as they are the most complex and quickly- changing adolescents. I believe I can positively impact their lives, and that is my number one goal.
